CEO Spotlight:
Mark Moore

IU Health Bloomington Hospital

Why United Way? "When I first started my career, I was impressed with how United Way was fundamental to the overall health and vitality of our community. It was the one way for individuals to contribute and give back to others in a very organized way aimed towards their greatest needs. So I began using payroll deduction through my employer as an easy way to contribute and with the realization that participation was the first goal and my ability to contribute more would grow with time. I've always felt proud of contributing to United Way (now approaching 40 years) and always encourage others to do so.

-- Mark Moore, President and CEO, IU Health Bloomington Hospital

Volunteer Spotlight:
Dennis Cromwell

IU United Way Campaign Chair & Real Men Read MENtor

Why United Way? "It is because the agencies of United Way make a difference in our community and United Way allows the agencies to spend more time focusing on their missions. I see the work these dedicated staff and unselfish volunteers perform to improve the lives of children, women, and men in Monroe County and surrounding areas. They simply need our support to take care of those in need today and with that helping hand, reduce the need in months and years to come."

-- Dennis Cromwell, Associate Vice President, Client Services and Support, Indiana University.
