An update from Executive Directior Efrat Feferman about the COVID-19 Relief Fund Phase 2 Grants

First of all, how are you? We’re hearing from some folks that they’ve managed to find a sense of rhythm the last few weeks and from others that they’re still struggling. We’d love to hear from you! Tell us what's helped you most during this time. We'll share out responses in the next video message. We look forward to hearing from you!

We're humbled to have recently awarded $450,000 in COVID-19 Relief Fund Phase 2 grants to 22 local human services organizations. Efrat Feferman, United Way of Monroe County Executive Director, provides an update on these grants and how your support is making a positive difference for local people - right now - during this crisis. Read about the Phase 2 grants here.

Donations to the COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund from individual donors like you and organizations in our community continue to help United Way support local non-profits that are providing crucial services to our community during the pandemic.

In total, the United Way COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund has granted over $1.1M to human service organizations serving people in Monroe, Owen, and Greene counties, and donations continue to come in.

It’s incredible to see everyone doing what they can to help, donating dollars, time, sewing skills, or sharing a positive message on social media. We are all doing what we can. So thank you for that - and thank you for supporting your United Way team to help you help others! To join the "army of compassion" click here.
