We're humbled to have recently awarded $450,000 in COVID-19 Relief Fund Phase 2 grants to 22 local human services organizations. Efrat Feferman, United Way of Monroe County Executive Director, provides an update on these grants and how your support is making a positive difference for local people - right now - during this crisis. Donations to the COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund from individual donors like you and organizations in our community continue to help United Way support local non-profits that are providing crucial services to our community during the pandemic.
In total, the United Way COVID-19 Emergency Relief Fund has granted over $1.1M to human service organizations serving people in Monroe, Owen, and Greene counties, and donations continue to come in.
