United Way of Monroe County announced on Wednesday, April 25 that intern Kelly Maden had received the Joseph M. Waldman Outstanding Internship Award from the Kelley School of Business Civic Leadership Development (CLD) program. CLD has been an outstanding partner with United Way for almost 20 years.

According to UW Executive Director Barry Lessow, "Kelly has done exceptional work for us this year, and we appreciate her care, diligence, and productivity."

The award is based on an effective partnership between the intern and the agency. UW Finance Director Chris Hazel supervised Kelly.
