SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES INVITED TO ENERGY
ASSISTANCE ROUNDTABLE
Area energy-delivery organizations, in
cooperation with United Way of Monroe County, will host an Energy
Assistance Roundtable Meeting at 2:30pm on Wednesday, September 8th
at the South Central Community Action Program.
The event will offer advice to social service
agencies that work with low-income families struggling with seasonal
gas and electric bills. The discussion will highlight various
Vectren and Duke Energy programs for income eligible customers as
well as SCCAP energy-assistance programs.
Questions from attendees are encouraged. This free
event will last about one hour.
