United Way of Monroe County was proud to honor our Leadership Givers at a reception March 3, 2009.  Sponsored by Indiana University and hosted by President Michael McRobbie and Laurie Burns McRobbie, the Musical Arts Center provided a magnificent backdrop for almost 100 United Way Vanguards and Young Leaders to mingle, enjoy food and classical guitar, and hear about how the actions they take to Live United create opportunity in our community.

IU President McRobbie and Director of Community Relations Kirk White, and Community Vanguard Chair Jim Grandorf (Kelley School of Business) offered congratulations along with United Way Board President Anna Weigand and Executive Director Barry Lessow. 

Two-year Indiana University Campaign Co-Chair Adelheid Gault, Director of the IU Art Museum, received a mutli-colored mosaic made by an artist at Stone Belt Art and Craft.
