Mark Franklin’s dedication to United Way was honored with the Mary Alice Gray Memorial Award at the 2016-2017 Campaign Kick-Off. This award is presented annually for extraordinary volunteer service.
United Way of Monroe County volunteers, workplace supporters, and community members celebrated the beginning of the 2016-2017 “Empowering Your Community. One Donation at a Time.” fundraising campaign during a luncheon Wednesday, September 28th at Fountain Square Ballroom.

Our Opinion: Supporting United Way campaign will help create a better tomorrow
United Way of Monroe County and more than 150 volunteers and community members enthusiastically launched the 2014-2015 “Let’s Create a Better Tomorrow.” fundraising campaign during a luncheon Wednesday, September 10th. Attendees were inspired by keynote speaker Anthony Thompson, Indiana University Associate Athletic Director.
