United Way 2008 Days of Caring!
Days of Caring 2008 takes
place the week of April 6th. Community members will participate
in volunteer efforts throughout the week, ending with the
Celebration of Families Festival on April 12th.
On Wednesday April 9,
Days of Caring participants volunteered for a wide variety of
projects, including planting gardens, fixing trails, painting,
doing yard work, and cleaning trash and graffiti. Over 100 volunteers participated in hands-on projects with
12 organizations across Monroe County. The projects made a
