Be More Awards to recognize volunteers
On Tuesday, April 5, 2011, the Buskirk-Chumley theater will be packed to honor the volunteers who assist in every aspect of Monroe County life. Ten volunteers in nine categories will be awarded Be More Awards and a $500 cash award for their volunteer organization at the April 5, 2011 ceremony.

According to United Way Executive Director Barry Lessow, "The Be More Awards event is one way we can thank all the community members who Live United by volunteering to assist individuals and agencies in our area.  We were thrilled to be involved in this evening and congratulate all those nominated."
